About Seliora and this draft
Seliora Health provides tracking, record keeping and informational support. It is not a diagnostic or individualized treatment service and does not replace healthcare-professional advice. Jenna-Lee La Cock currently operates Seliora while the business entity is being established, in Randburg, Gauteng, South Africa.
Information handled
Depending on use, Seliora handles account and contact details, profiles, family relationships and permissions, reproductive and fertility/trying to conceive (TTC) records, pregnancy, birth and postpartum data, lactation/breastfeeding information, baby and child-health records, NICU and prematurity records, healthcare-provider information, health conditions, medications, symptoms, measurements, appointments, tests and results, developmental records, notes, uploaded documents and images, authentication/security information and policy-acceptance records. Health, reproductive, child and family information is particularly sensitive.
Collection, purposes and sharing
Information is supplied by users and authorised caregivers, or through authentication, security and operational systems. It is used to maintain accounts, store records, provide authorised family collaboration, protect access, deliver requested service communications and respond to privacy requests. Create or manage another person's records only with lawful authority.
Family membership does not confer unrestricted access to every adult's private records. Choose invited caregivers carefully; access follows the applicable family and profile permissions. Shared child history may remain available to other existing authorised caregivers after an account departs.
Documents and service providers
Uploaded files form part of the sensitive records managed through authorised access. This legal website does not upload, display or retrieve those records. Current pre-launch application infrastructure includes Supabase for authentication, database and file storage, Cloudflare for web hosting, and Resend for email delivery. This static legal site is hosted on Cloudflare; it does not connect to the application's Supabase services or send email through Resend. Providers may process information outside South Africa; applicable transfer arrangements and disclosures require review. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Advertising and provider processing
When enabled, native Android and iOS builds use Google Mobile Ads and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) for a labelled, non-personalized Home banner. Web and desktop advertising is disabled. Production advertising is not enabled or approved. Having an active journey does not itself suppress a Home banner; health forms, detail screens and safety-critical actions remain ad-free.
Seliora does not supply first-party health, reproductive, family, child, journey, profile or record information for advertising targeting, audience creation or measurement segmentation. This does not mean Google performs no processing: when native advertising is enabled, Google Mobile Ads and UMP may process technical information needed for advertising delivery, consent, fraud prevention and measurement. This may include applicable device/network identifiers and advertising interaction information, depending on platform and provider configuration. Not every possible SDK data category necessarily applies. Seliora requests non-personalized ads; this does not imply absence of provider processing.
Required legal-policy acknowledgement is separate from advertising privacy choices. When required by UMP, Family > Advertising privacy > Privacy choices opens the provider form. Opening choices removes ads while permission is re-evaluated; withdrawal, restriction or failure leaves advertising unavailable. These choices are provider/device scoped, not a Seliora account-level consent record.
No application analytics or crash-reporting vendor SDK is currently integrated. This does not exclude infrastructure or advertising-provider processing. This static legal site contains no advertising, analytics, tracking scripts or external fonts.
Access, correction and export
Subject to applicable law, users may request access, correction, deletion, information about processing, object to processing or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Users may also have rights to raise privacy concerns or complaints with the relevant regulator or authority where applicable. Privacy & Data provides account-data export and export of subject records the user is currently authorised to access. Review the export preview for scope. Export does not require accepting new terms; current documents and acceptance history remain available there.
Deletion and retention
Privacy & Data offers family-departure previews and account-deletion requests. Account deletion can remain pending while processing completes. Ordinary family-health access is restricted after a request, but requesting deletion does not immediately erase every shared or retained record. Adult-private history remains restricted; shared child history may be retained for existing authorised caregivers. Final purge and retention decisions require policy review; no fixed completion deadline is promised. Read account deletion information.
Changes and contact
This draft makes no POPIA compliance certification or claim of legal approval. Final publication requires review of processing, providers, transfers, retention and applicable rights. Material policy changes may require a new acknowledgement. For privacy questions contact info@seliorahealth.co.za. Do not send passwords, tokens or health documents in an initial enquiry.
